The Story Behind Asyl Collection

Arumee was born from the vision of founder Aru Serikova, who wanted to weave her Kazakh roots into luxurious, modern clothing for women who value meaning as much as beauty. Drawing from the rich visual language of nomadic ornaments, she reimagines heritage through the lens of contemporary design, creating timeless pieces that speak to strength, elegance, and identity.

At the heart of many Arumee designs is Oyu, the traditional Kazakh ornamental pattern passed down through generations. Each motif carries its own symbolism. The horn-shaped Oyu represents strength, resilience and beauty, while floral variations signify growth, harmony and renewal. Other geometric interpretations reflect unity and balance. For Arumee, these patterns are more than decoration; they are a connection to history, a tribute to the artistry of the steppe, and a way to infuse clothing with meaning.

Our Couture Process

Every Arumee garment is made through a couture, fully handcrafted process. From the initial sketch to the final stitch, we focus on precision, detail and individuality. Fabrics are carefully sourced for quality and feel. Patterns are cut and sewn in small batches, often incorporating hand embroidery and intricate finishing. Each piece is fitted, adjusted and perfected by artisans so it not only looks exceptional but also feels made for you.

In every thread, you will find a story of heritage, craftsmanship and the modern woman’s strength.
